MG CS Concept takes Morris Garages softroading

Although we now have live images of it, we don't know anything more about the MG CS SUV concept now than we did a week ago when the Sino-Anglo brand previewed it. A compact SUV looking for some of the lucre being thrown at that segment, it's not made for the MG purist. But if parent company SAIC can keep the production version close to the concept, it could find a lot of new MG fans.

MG teases CS crossover ahead of Shanghai debut

Come the Shanghai Auto Show and MG is ready to debut its CS crossover concept there. A compact crossover this, it reeks of British design elements like the multi-faceted headlamp which refract light in different colours. That they coalesce to make the MG logo is a different story. With this model, MG hopes to jump into the lucrative compact SUV bandwagon and increase its presence globally.

More details about this SUV will emerge on April 20.
