TVS Motors has quietly rolled the 2013 edition of its popular scooter, the Wego with an optional front disc brake. Available across India, the disc brake equipped variant of the Wego is roughly priced Rs 3000 above the drum braked one at Rs 50,000, ex-Thane. Apart from the optional disc, there are no other changes in the 110cc Wego. The only other scooter now on sale in India with a disc brake is the 110cc Honda Aviator, which carries a price tag of Rs 56,111 ex-Mumbai.
In the coming months, TVS is expected to launch a new ‘masculine scooter’, which will be priced above the Wego.
TVS motors is a old company in two wheeler makers, it produces a lots of bikes and scooter in India. From all-new upmarket scooter offering from TVS, the Wego is highly potent and able product in its class. As far as mileage is concerned, Indians preferred the high mileage scooters.
